As I’m putting the finishing touches on the 2015 NW Fly Tying & Fly Fishing Expo, I thought I’d say a big THANK YOU to the many volunteers who made this possible. We couldn’t have done it without you.
In addition, our major sponsors, Wasatch Angling and Amato Publications, deserve recognition. Please contact them and tell them how much you appreciate their support of the Expo.
Our Vendors! Without them, the Expo wouldn’t be possible. Let them know your appreciation if you get the chance. And to the multitude of casters, tyers, and other instructors I offer my heart-felt thanks for helping the Oregon Council present such a terrific event. Thank you for attending. Your attendance and support of the Expo provides dollars to fund 2 OSU fisheries scholarships, conservation projects in Oregon, and other education projects for member clubs in Oregon.
Not a member? Let me know…I can help with that!
Lastly, I’d like to invite you to the 50th Anniversary of the International Federation of Fly Fishers to be held in Bend, Oregon on August 11 – 15, 2016. The Oregon Council’s Greg Pitts authored a nice piece about how the McKenzie Flyfishers started the national Federation of Fly Fishers. If you didn’t get a chance to read it in the Expo Program, it can be found here.
I hope to see you on March 11 & 12, 2016!
